Positive impacts and big changes
Thanks to the wonderful work done by volunteers, they have made positive impacts and big changes to the social, structural, health, and education of Together for Cambodia.
A comprehensive assessment of candidates is performed as follows:
- Complete the Application Form.
- Complete a statement of purpose or ability attesting to knowledge and experience.
- Accept and sign the Child Protection Procedures form.
- Accept and sign the Volunteer Behaviour form.
- Attach a Certificate of Criminal Record dated no earlier than one month before the start of the project.
- Provide evidence of health insurance.
- The duration of volunteering will depend on the project and may range from one week to one year.
- VOLUNTEERS working with TFC are directly responsible for their projects and any commitments those projects require.
- VOLUNTEERS are responsible for travel, visa, and health-related costs.
- TFC provides meal support to all volunteers during their working hours. Accommodation is not provided; however, for projects that require long stays, volunteers receive USD 100 per month to support accommodation costs. As a result, these volunteers may choose where they wish to reside, as the city offers many possibilities.
- VOLUNTEERS do not pay any fee or tax to TFC, as TFC does not require volunteers to cover any administrative expenses. No monetary transactions may exist between VOLUNTEERS and TFC in relation to volunteer acceptance or continuation.
- If VOLUNTEERS wish to make a donation, it must be made freely and without in any way affecting volunteer acceptance or continuity.
- TFC greatly appreciates the kindness and social commitment of its volunteers, as their work is essential to the improvement projects carried out by TFC.
